Moorfield House, Leeds

Planning permission and listed building consent has been granted for the ‘change-of-use’ of a dis-used Care Home into 14 Apartments & 400 sqm of Serviced Offices in North Leeds.

As well as producing the designs, HG2 Architects acted as the project lead / agent and submitted a pre-planning enquiry, followed by a full planning and listed building application. A full internal remodel of the building was carefully considered to provide a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, ensuring minimum harm to the manor homes original fabric. A significant challenge of this application centred around expanding the sites small existing car park to meet the needs of the 20,000sqft building whilst also protecting the sites historic gardens. We look forward to seeing this large, listed building in the heart of North Leeds fully restored and back in use.
