Junior Technologist / Part 1 or Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire

HG2 Architects is a design-led architectural practice based in Harrogate, delivering thoughtful, high-quality projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. We are looking for a motivated and creative Junior Technologist or Part 1 / Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our growing team.

​

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual eager to develop their skills in a supportive, collaborative studio environment, working on projects from concept through to completion.

​

Key Responsibilities

​

• Assist in the development of design proposals and technical packages

• Produce high-quality drawings, models, and visualisations

• Support the project team across all RIBA stages

• Contribute to planning applications and building regulations submissions

• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and clients

• Ensure work is delivered to high design and technical standards

​

Skills & Experience

​

• Relevant architectural qualification (Part 1, Part 2, or Architectural Technology degree)

• Strong design sensibility with attention to detail

• Proficiency in Revit essential.

• Knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods (for technologist role)

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
