Residential Development, Burton Leonard

Designs for twenty-three homes on the edge of Burton Leonard. HG2 Architects were appointed by Loxley Holdings to develop concept and Stage 2 and 3 designs. The site was extremely complex with substantial level differences and a complicated boundary arrangement. There are also a number of mature trees across the site, there’re a creative design solution was required to maximise units whilst respecting the sites natural characteristics.

 

Planning permission was originally refused, however this was overturned at appeal (planning consultants: Peacock and Smith Peacock + Smith | Planning and Development Consultants). The site was then purchased and developed by Chartford Homes. Chartford Homes - The Difference Is The Detail
